Great experience, responsive communication

After a hail storm damaged the roof on our commercial property in Chisago City, Matt and the Buildtec team handled the full roof replacement, and we couldn't be happier. Matt was responsive from the first call, honest about the scope and cost, and easy to work with through the whole process. His crew did clean, quality work and finished on schedule. We'd hire him again without hesitation. They also helped navigate through the insurance claim as well.

Matt, the workers and owners did a amazing job replacing our shingles. Owner called personally to inform me of new molding shingle materials received and immediately ordered new ones instead of putting the bad ones on like other companies would have to save money and time. Matt was very informational and communicative during the whole process and workers were friendly. The turn around on replacement was professional and quick. They even put tarp all the way around the house and cleaned up very good. Highly recommend Buildtec. Reach out to Matt!

These guys at Buildtec came out and gave me a roof inspection. They were honest and showed me exactly where I had damage. Took the time to explain the whole process to get my roof replaced. Even helped with showing me different shingle options. I decided to go with a nice color from Owens Corning. I’ll be calling them back for my siding project in the spring. Great team they have and always answers the phone when I have questions.

Buildtec was very helpful with my claims adjuster. They also coordinated roofing job with an insulation contractor and got the whole roof and insulation project done in one day. Did a great job! They were very responsive to my requests.

We are so thankful for Matt Prokosch and everyone at Buildtec! Matt went above and beyond for me from the very beginning. He inspected our property, helped us through the insurance claim, met with the adjuster, and when our roof wasn’t approved the first time, he didn’t give up. He sent in additional pictures and information, got us a second inspection, met with the new adjuster, and was able to help get my full roof replacement approved along with some additional work. I honestly wouldn’t have known what to do without his help. Matt was always available, kept me updated, and really cared about getting this taken care of for me. Buildtec also did a fantastic job on the roof. The crew was great, everything looks beautiful, and they cleaned everything up when they were finished. I couldn’t be happier or more appreciative of everything Matt and Buildtec did for me. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Adam with Buildtec really knew the differences between GAF and Owens Corning and answered all of our questions without pushing us toward either one. He helped us find the right shingle and color for our home, and we absolutely love how it turned out. We chose GAF in the color Cliffside! Really, truly, great service through the process!

When we received all the insurance paperwork, it might as well have been written in another language. Adam with Buildtec helped us understand the construction terminology and what work was being discussed. That alone took away a lot of our anxiety.
