the salon is clean, bright and welcoming

When I booked my appointment, I wanted it to be a nice chill vibe and it was a treat for myself to get them done. I sat down with the first girl, and she let me know she wasn’t feeling well, which was completely fine. She did the prep and one coat of gel on my left hand before leaving. She didn’t tell me she was leaving, just got up and left. A 2nd girl came by and let me know again she wasn’t feeling good and that she would be finishing my nails. I’m not sure if she had another appointment after me but she was rushing to get them done. She kept missing steps and I had to remind her that only one hand had 2 coats, and the other didn’t have a topcoat yet. Most of my right hand is pretty bumpy and I can see where gel was left to pool. There was also gel on my skin around my nails and under 7 out of 10 nails. When she finished with my nails, she put some lotion on my arms and said they would check me out up front. No hand massage that was mentioned by the girl up front. When I went to pay it was $65, gel manicure plus cat eye design. I was asked if I wanted to leave gratuity and I said sure, thinking they would pull up a screen for me to select but the girl at reception just asked me how much I wanted to add. In a world now where everyone asks for tips its really uncomfortable to be put in a situation where you’re telling someone how much you want to tip them. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have tipped, but just wanting to leave I left 15%. Total coming out to $75. For someone who maybe gets their nails done once a year that is a lot of money to be treated so poorly. I felt very unwelcomed and uncomfortable the whole time, there was no attempt at conversation from either girl and I felt so rushed that I didn’t say anything when I felt how wonky my nails were. This will probably be the last time I go to Frenchies, I’ve only been once prior. I would appreciate someone reaching out about this situation and giving a refund, at least for part of the service. Update a week after getting my nails done the thumb started peeling. I have now received 2 texts and 3 emails to leave a google review so I will.

This was my first time getting my nails done in a few years. I have some health issues, and occasionally my hands shake a bit. Roxy did an amazing job and made me feel incredibly comfortable! I will absolutely return.

I have never before liked getting my nails done but since coming here for the first time and getting the nail artist Roxie, I love it! I absolutely love getting my nails done by her and will always only go to her because her nail art is out of this world. She is not only super sweet but obviously talented! This salon is very lucky to have her!

I recently visited Frenchies, a smaller salon, for a mani-pedi. Despite its size, it offers exceptional nail care. While the prices are slightly higher than average, the attention to detail and quality of work make it worthwhile. The salon’s clean, non-chemical smell, coupled with attentive customer service, creates a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

It was an amazing experience. As a man i felt welcome by the staff and fellow customers. My service was top notch! I will be back!

I’m never going to another salon again haha, the fact my toe nails are paper thin from going to other places… I didn’t even know that polish should be removed without a dremel, learned so much from coming here and I’ve been getting my nails done for over a decade… as someone who is very into aesthetics and cleanliness this space checks all the squares 😇

They advertise that they take walk ins but they really don't/can't. They will apparently only accept you if there happens to be an open slot. Drove 45 minutes to go there today. Lesson learned. Maybe they should stop advertising that accept walk ins.

The gel removal took longer than i’ve ever seen it take and when I went to get the polish removed a month later, I found green fungus from when the technician allowed water to enter and painted over it. not sure how that happened but I have a green streak in my nail bed. for the price point, i’d expect efficient service and more care. nails did not seem significantly healthier one month later than other, cheaper and faster salons.
