I initially wasn’t happy with my gel manicure (it was not very neat). The manicurist was lovely, but she was new and seemed in a rush. However, I fed this back to the team at Frenchies and they handled it very well and promptly, they restored my confidence in them and I will certainly be back!! I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the salon and when I arrived the lovely lady on the front desk gave me a tour and explained how everything worked, the products they used and how they sanitize all the equipment etc. I was asked to wash my hands with soap prior to starting the manicure which was I was pleasantly surprised by. My manicurist also filed my nails down manually without using any electric drill, which was excellent!

Thank you for telling us instead of just not coming back — that's the only way we get better, and we're glad we could make it right. You also described our entire approach better than our own website does. The tour, the hand wash, the sanitizing, the manual file instead of a drill — none of it is for show. It's slower, it costs more, and it's why your nails stay healthy underneath the polish. Most people never notice. You noticed all of it. We'll see you next time — and we'll make sure that first set gets the finish it should have had.

When a change comes inside our cancellation window, that reserved time usually can't be filled, and it affects both the technician who was holding it and the guests waiting for an opening. Honoring those terms is how we protect our team's livelihood and keep availability fair for the guests who plan ahead. We understand they aren't the right fit for everyone, and that's okay. For the clients who value a salon that runs on time and takes care of its staff, we'll keep doing exactly what we do.

Very grateful and impressed by the customer service! Original review: Appreciated the cleanliness of the salon and the really friendly staff. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours my nails were significantly chipped and looked weeks old, despite the claim that the polish would look fresh for 7+ days. Disappointing.
