I haven’t had a haircut in three years and hadn’t had a styled cut in over ten years. I had the wonderful pleasure of having MacKenzie give me EXACTLY what I wanted. I came with a reference picture and she delivered the dream haircut. MacKenzie cut my hair effortlessly, it was very well executed. Then it got better, I had failed an attempt at home to colour my hair pink for an event this wknd, when I told MacKenzie about this, her and the salon staff worked their magic and whipped up a delicious cherry pink colour for me, which I hadn’t even booked for, so I truly appreciate them squeezing that in. It was literally the cherry on top, I felt absolutely fabulous. All the staff were so sweet chatting to my kids as well. 10/10 experience with incredible result. I’m not from the area - but already thinking I will plan a holiday so I can visit this salon again.

Walked into Maiden Hair for the first time and felt like a regular. It's buzzing but so welcoming, and you don't need to feel like an Instagram model to come in. The decor is fun and vibey, and the whole experience is down to earth. I saw Kenzie, and my consult was really thorough. I'm so happy with the finished result, it's exactly what I asked for. Every hairdresser there was friendly and knew their stuff, the refreshment list is lovely, and the basins are the comfiest I've ever sat in. Nothing digging into your neck! Congrats to Jonina on creating something really special.

Such a great experience for my curly haired daughter and so much education and care - especially for me to help tame her mane. We left with her curls bouncing and glowing like I have never seen. She was soooo happy! Will definitely be back.

Always a beautiful and welcoming place, it was my daughter’s first time to have colour through her hair. The stylist was amazing, made her feel special, walked both of us through it step by step, discussed options, and did a wonderful job!!!
