From the moment we arrived we have been completely impressed. Unfortunately the photos won’t do it justice and neither will the words. The whale is so well done, so well thought out and so well managed that it easily compares to the very best stays anywhere else in the world. The finishes across the entire property are stunning, the quality of the workmanship terrific. The gardens are a marvel in their own right. The linens perfectly curated, the furniture beautifully thought out. The team are wonderful and accommodating, always willing to help or drop you from the hotel to somewhere else and come and get you. Thanks for having us, we will be back.

The newly renovated Whale is absolutely epic. The view, 29 degree pool, sauna & ice bath were amazing and I love all the touches in the room. It felt very relaxing and well considered. A highlight was how incredible the music was everywhere you go including a record player in your room. The staff were fantastic. Congratulations

The Whale is absolutely a hidden gem and just as they described “a love letter from Narooma”. We were amazed by the outstanding service and retro vibe the minute we walked in and this stay has marked an incredible experience for our last minute getaway trip. It’s rare to find a place that leaves such a lasting impression. This is what I’d say a hotel is more than a place to stay —it’s an experience that makes you slow down, unwind, and appreciate the little moments. Definitely coming back and look forward for more facilities! P.S. Fabulous food!!!

This is most definitely the place to be, the perfect weekend escape. From the moment we entered this incredibly stylish 1970s Ibiza themed venue we were more than delighted. It is wonderful to be greeted by a person who is as welcoming and bubbly as Jessie, who took the time to show us around, tell us every little detail, and pay great attention to our needs. Without forgetting Ashish in the restaurant who made sure everything was perfect right down to the smallest details. This is hands down the best customer service we have had in a very long time. This is not just a hotel it is an experience. Every little detail transports you through relaxation and good times. From the record players, to the face masks, the cocktails, the breakfast, and the spa to the pool, every little detail of the place has been thought of with perfection. We can’t wait to come back and spend a couple of evenings here to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the incredible amenities it offers and the view. Thanks again to the whole team, Paige & Paul
