Spice Circle at Portage

One of the best meals I have had. Fresh , tasty, hot and the samosas had just the right crunch on the outside and pillowy sofT on the inside. The staff are also the friendliest in Winnipeg. Thank you.

I often get take out from Spice Circle. Korma and garlic naan are my go-tos. Delicious! Portions are large, service is so friendly. I love going here!

Spice Circle is our go to for Indian food. We ordered take out this weekend and chose all our favorites including aloo gobi, Manchurian veggie, dal tadka, chicken madras and of course garlic naan. We also tried the chicken biryani this time. All of the food was delicious and hot! Spice Circle never disappoints!

I have just go today and find that food is not good. It is absolutely zero. I don’t recommend anyone to go there and waste their hard money there. bad food, i come from Brampton.

Food is always delicious and served with good presentation and temperature. Our regular Indian restaurant we never go anywhere else

We have been ordering from Spice circle for a couple years now. Great restaurant for Indian food in the St James Area. Always enjoy their butter chicken and samosas.

We were the only table for most of the evening. We stayed from 6:00 till 10:00 the waitress was a lovely woman but she disappeared for long lengths of time and by disappeared I mean we couldn't see her. They've recently redecorated and is very pretty. For a Friday night it is unfortunate that there was only us and one other table the entire evening. They do a really good business with takeout. It is a sad state that people are paying a premium to order via Skip and not socializing and taking advantage of such a wonderful ambiance. The background music was relaxing and conducing for intimate conversation. The food was amazing as it has been since they opened their doors in December of 2019 and had to persevere through the covid years. They also have a second location in the Osborne village. I cannot imagine how hard these folks have worked. Kudos to them and if you can go and support a locally owned business please do. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing biryani. Ordering on the website was frustrating and I missed part of the order because the page kept reloading to a different section of the menu. We got take out.

ChickenTikka masala was wonderful with just the right amount of heat at medium-hot! Vegetable curry was also great Samosas were fantastic but please serve with extra extra tamarind sauce!

Delivery and had a piece of METAL in one of the dishes. Multiple calls to restaurant and finally told for any refund would have to contact the delivery service. Having spent significant money in person and in delivery from this restaurant and then to be treated this way was shameful, to say the least. They’ve lost my business.

The restaurant atmosphere was great and the gentleman who served us had great energy! I liked my garlic naan and my boyfriend loved the dal makhni on his non veg thali. Although he wasn't a big fan of the butter chicken - tasted like tomato soup to him. Overall a positive experience!
